Sunny Autumn Sunset

Only a slight hint of rain this morning although it was quite overcast, but in the afternoon, gloriously sunny.  I had to do some errands at the supermarket and decided to drive a little further to the large roundabout near Etten-Leur because we noticed that it was filled with wild flowers -- these look like poppies but there were also wild roses, some black-eyed susans (or what looked like susans), and others whose names I don't know.  Since the weather isn't as predictable as it used to be, I thought to take advantage of this window of sunshine.  I also wanted to use the new camera again.  Of course, having been heavily sedated into laziness by the freedom of this past week, I completely forgot the memory card and the fact that the new camera doesn't have any memory, so off first to do the errands, then back home to put them in the fridge, then back to the roundabout with the precious card, hoping the sky would remain the way it was.  The extra shows the sun close to sunset time and is largely untouched; I just zoomed in towards the sun, that's all.

The rest of the roundabout shots are here.

Only the weekend left, then it's back to work.
