Couple in the Gardens

Day 2, Brisbane! As we walked this morning in the botanical gardens with our flat whites, we met this couple and chatted for about a half hour. Although they consider themselves Aussies, he is a Kiwi, and she a Brit.

After lunch we saw a fine production of "Singin' in the Rain", followed by Joshua Redman/Brad Moldau concert, both at the Queensland Performing Arts Center. The complex at the Sydney Opera House gets the attention because of the spectacular architecture, but this center is excellent.
