Transformed!

Every October, Northampton town centre is transformed into a fairground for a few days. The rides are set up overnight - it's amazing how it all gets done in a few dark hours. Several main streets are closed as is half the market square, now filled with just about every kind of fairground experience you can think of.

One of the oldest rides is this carousel. Each hand-painted horse has a name.
