Fools' Fountain

We spent a lovely afternoon driving around and ending up in a pleasant country town - Buchen at the fringe of the Odenwald with a lot of half- timbered houses. The town is also popular and well-known for celebrating the shrovetide Season (from 11/11, 11:11h to Ash Wednesday). So it is not a real surprise that they have a Fountain commemorating the 'ingredients' of Fastnacht the German Word for this time of year ( the fifth season aus sometimes say)
