Pumpkin time

We had a full day. It started with seeing Markku off to Finland at the airport. What a special friend he is, we will miss his company. 
Then we drove to Monmouth to watch Gage run in the state cross country championship meet, for the mid schoolers. There were hundreds of runners from many schools. Thankfully the weather was pleasant, making it nice for the spectators and runners alike. I think he placed 104th out of 400+ runners. 
In the evening we had a pumpkin carving gathering/ dinner at our daughter's house. The fruit of our creativity is on parade in the blip; take a guess which one is mine.
