Laying the carpet

Once every two years a flower carpet of 750.000 flowers is laid down on the Grand Place in Brussels. The tradition started in the '70s and is carried on till this day. The aim of the flower carpet is to showcase the begonia flower. This year's carpet will be revealed tonight, but this afternoon the volunteers were still building it. Quite impressive work!
