One Red Balloon

Winging its way over the rooftops of Bakewell - them, not us, although we were in Bakewell today spending time and having a lovely lunch with a very dear friend of mine J and her equally dear husband T. J and I shared flats in London over 50 years ago, have lots of history and so had lots to chatter and reminisce about - our husbands were patient, up to a point, but then retreated to talk about their own interests!

Our lovely few days in Derbyshire have flown by all too quickly and we'll be wending our way home again tomorrow. Hope 'Matilda' will be able to make a dignified exit from the caravan site, the ground is so wet here and one of the motorhomes on site had to be moved the other evening before it sunk into oblivion ?? If 'Matilda' digs her heels/wheels in tomorrow then Mr Scroggins' tractor will have to be called for!
