Flushed Pheasant

I printed out a draft document of thirty-three pages and took it to my sister's so that we could go through it word by word looking for errors and make notes of any queries.

She has her daughter's boisterous cockapoo puppy Angus staying with her so we took him and her Ollie dog for walk on the Dengie marshes first. We saw a stonechat, a meadow pipit, lots of wrens, an oystercatcher and a little egret and explored the darling little cockle shell beach.

Ollie dog flushed some pheasants. They whirred off in all directions and I managed to get a cock in flight. We kept our eyes skinned, as we usually do, for the kestrel often seen on the wires by the poultry farm. The female was there and we used the car as a hide. The aspect wasn't great. I've added a pic of her taking off to extras.
