Common Kingfisher

Yes, I saw my favourite bird again today! As you can tell this beautiful bird is most definitely the star of my Birds of Oman collection, along with the African paradise Flycatcher, sadly I've only seen one of those, but I am fortunate to see quite a few of these incredible birds. Here she is being vocal and showing off how huge that fishing dagger beak is in relation to her head and body size! She's really something very unique and special in the bird world and that's without mentioning her colourful, iridescent plumage!
