Golden Ginko-- no snow!

One of the last leaves to turn and fall is the ancient Chinese ginko tree. The Lafyette Square in Oxford is lined with these slow growing trees. They were planted in honour of the French general who heroically helped us win our independence from the British at the end of the 18th century.

The weather predictors have been WRONG this year (again), so far. It is quite cold with sharp winds... but no snow has fallen. This must be the weather folks trick or treat joke to us.
Sorry to disappoint you blippers who have written wishes for seeing snow blips here! Don't lose hope, the snows will come.
