Respite in Salisbury

We travelled to one of our favorite places, Salisbury, where we were married and had all 3 of our sons.  This is a fully working wind up gramophone in the lounge at the hotel - I know it is fully working as I put the wound it up, set the needle on the record and then frantically tried to find some kind of volume control as it blasted out through the hotel!!  The towering tallest spire in the UK is always a sight to behold and particularly photogenic when viewed from the walk through the water meadows and so I posted that as the extra.  We had planned on trying a new Indian restaurant that had been recommended to us, but after very poor service and disappointing chutneys served with pappadoms, we paid the bill and went down to Anokaa, our go to restaurant in Salisbury and thoroughly enjoyed the experience once again.
