Saturday: Kew Gardens

Moved down south, we're staying at Travelodge Teddington for the next couple of nights. Our hosts drove us down and we had a bit of a family get together.
MrD was taken to a rugby match at the London Welsh ground and I was taken to Kew Gardens!
Weather is still perfect for walking, we saw so many things to interest us: vegetable patches, plant families (most herbs are part of the Mint family!), facts about bees, the Hive Installation which is fascinating (see extra photo).
After a very long walk met up with the boys at The Orange Tree in Richmond, then went on for dinner at Carluccio's in Teddington.
