Caterpillar

Had to go to the garden centre this morning to order a shed for the allotment, and lunch. The park had to wait till the afternoon. Found this caterpillar on the ground, which seemed to survive the dog sitting on it. Not sure of the species, possibly a Sycamore Moth? Maybe someone out there can tell me.
