Gloomy Moonset

The morning was heavily overcast, but there was a gap between the nor’west arch and the clouds over the mountains. I watched and waited. At last the moon appeared, but the gap was full of thin clouds and haze. Getting a good shot of the moon was not possible.

The mountains are the southern end of the Craigieburn Range and Porters Skifield.
