Beauty in the ordinary

I just love finding mathematically interesting shapes in everyday man-made objects. Can't you just imagine the electrons thrumming through the wires?

It reminds me of sunny afternoons using yoghurt pots with string tied between them as telephones, whispering secret messages and giggling to hear my friend's voice reverberating through the thin plastic.
