Bring On The Baggies!

OK, I know I promised yesterday I wouldn't post a football related blip until at least Saturday but, having disposed of Colchester 3 - 0 last night with an accomplished performance in an exciting game, today we were drawn against Premier League West Bromwich Albion ( interesting to see how they got this nickname: The Baggies for those of you not into English football) in the 2nd Round of the Capital One (League) Cup.

It's 9 seasons since we last played a top flight side at home (Liverpool in the FA Cup), so this should create a bit of welcome early season excitement for all us Yeovil fans.

The baggy sports' shorts were our son Chris's before he lost a lot of weight; the model has insisted on remaining anonymous! Thought b&w suited the origins of the nickname.

Swimming in torrential rain this morning nearly provided today's blip until the Cup draw was made.
