Tropical flower and bonus bug

I have tried to identify this tree flower which was growing in Tenerife airport enroute to our island in the sun. My husband was not happy with the tyres on our hire car so sitting under the shade of this tree, I suddenly realised it had flowers so would qualify for today's flower Friday. We were given a new hire car.
