Darlene

Darlene earns her living painting pottery. In spite of her very modest income and the difficult circumstances she lives in, when talking to her you sense that this is a strong and proud woman: "The hardships of life didn't break my neck. I still carry my head high."
This is a trait you find in a lot of Brazilian women. Beautiful.
We will be visiting a couple of potteries these days. My wife, an artist herself, wants to do some projects in different types of clay. It will be a nice opportunity to show you around our town a little bit.
