Happy little Snowman from Oban

1988 I was interrailing British Islands with a friend. She wanted to go to Oban, Scotland, and it was ok with me too. We had a room in B&B and were so well taken care of, that we stayed ther 5 days instead of 2.

B&B was owned By Jeremy I. His B&B was filled with fresh flowers, books and little toys like this snowman. He told us that there was an old lady in Oban, who sold knitted toys in some yearly occasion and he bought a toy or two every time.

When we were leaving, we both got to choose one toy. The Snowman travelled with me to Finland and it have stayed with me almost 30 years now. When I look at him, I always remember our wonderful stay in Oban.
