Fungus

After watching "Certain Women," a movie set in the windswept winter landscape of Montana...a perfect setting for the stark relationships which unfolded, we enjoyed afternoon light illuminating golden leaves in Hoyt Arboretum. The moist duff beneath a grand Douglas Fir provided the right conditions for this striking fungus.
