Sandsend

Another pretty busy day. Beck and I let Katie have a lie-in and drove up the hill to tackle the Stoup Brow Trail, a pleasantly windswept short walk across the moorland on the hilltop above the Bay, with some ancient cairn-spotting thrown in. Later on, fortified by a Full English, we braved the crowds at Whitby and then strolled along the beach to Sandsend, where apparently there's a very nice seafront cafe. Unfortunately the walk was slightly longer than we anticipated and the cafe was closing up as we arrived and wouldn't make us a cup of tea to ease the hike back. Luckily, I had Yorkshire Mixture...
