Water Power

Back to the water again and another view of the power of the river where it passes through Sadlers Mill on the outskirts of Romsey town.
The river either side of the mill presents a tranquil picture of the Hampshire countryside, yet at this point the sheer power of the river is evident.
Small wonder the salmon heading up stream leap out of the water at this point, if only to take stock of where they are and the next hazard ahead between them and the spawning waters further upstream.
