Tank driving.

Today we drove up to Leicester so my husband could drive a tank! It was a belated birthday present from a friend and involved driving around some tracks in fields in a "432 tank (or AFV -armoured fighting vehicle) with a turret from a Fox" (so I'm told!). There was also a museum there which both Neil and Theo thoroughly enjoyed - Henry and I weren't quite as enthusiastic. But it was a good day and worth it to see a 40 year old grinning like a child on Christmas Eve!
This evening has been spent ironing school uniforms, polishing school shoes and making sure all the appropriate books have been found and put in the book bag ready for tomorrow morning - end of half term.
NB. In this photo you can just see Neil's head poking up!
