Day 15 following the lines of the compass drawn from Glossop town centre.

Some poor weather today with very heavy rain for a few hours in the middle of the day.

Luckily I saw it coming and took the opportunity to get out early and find this shot on a footpath on high ground between Hague Street in Whitfield and Cross Cliffe.

The photograph shows the typical sheep found in the area but also cattle on the near horizon.

The distant horizon is the land between to two hills Harry Hut ( yes that's a hill not a building) and Mill Hill a well used approach to climb Kinder Scout. Most of the route is paved with large locally sourced slabs - better than some of the terrible boggy land that had to be waded through in the past.
