Too Early for Excitement

A pre-office visit to the supermarket yielded little in the way of shopping. I'd got no further than a punnet of strawberries and a copy of First News for my elder daughter when sirens sounded and an automated voice exclaimed "Emergency! Evacuate the building immediately". So that's exactly what we did and I had to return at lunch. A small fire had broken out in the toilets but by then normal service had resumed.
