Sunshine and Cemeteries

Edson, Suiany and Jaio practising the music for church that night. The cross we made from ends of bottles and some pink glasses. Have always loved the afternoon sun coming through the cobogós and making patterns on the walls.

M spent the morning helping tidy the cemetery for Day of the Dead, (2nd November), when everyone comes back to visit the dead buried there - as well as the living still hanging on here in the countryside. I spent the morning cleaning the house with Zilda and Raniela.

An extra of the sky as I walked back home from the main photo - because no matter how hot and dusty the day, the sun always sets, it's always beautiful, and the relief of some coolness comes.
