A sign???

This pile of leaves was positioned outside my office as I arrived this morning and with lots of questions about how this term is going to be with a new appointment, it seemed to be somewhat prophetic. It was good to be back amongst the students and a bit of sunshine on a lunchtime duty day was very welcome. A meeting at the end of the day was frustrating to say the least with several of the participants offering a very blinkered standpoint. It was definitely one of those days when the grown-ups are more irritating than the children. So, body pump with the bestest friend and the official Bailey sitter was a welcome outlet this evening, even if the aftermath will last longer than the frustration.

My frustration was possibly partly fuelled by disturbed sleep last night because Bailey obviously had a fancy to be sleeping somewhere other than his crate. His wish wasn't granted at half twelve or ten past two or twenty past four. By the time I was up, he was curled up in his crate as if he'd been like that all night! I'm hoping for a quieter night tonight.
