Aigle Castle, Wine Museum!

You have to visit our most local castle if you come here, it is small but so rustic and pretty, records date it back to 1179 but what you see today is mainly from the rebuilt castle of 1488. It is completely surrounded by vineyards and Aigle wine is quite expensive. Like all Swiss wine, it is not exported but drunk by the Swiss themselves! I may be called upon to help with that very soon.....

Thanks for your very enthusiastic response to "Ice and Fire" yesterday, it is such an easy walk to the valley, I don't know why I haven't been there before.
