Digger in the mist

A strange sight on my regular dog walk this morning.  A netball court sized slab of neatly placed steaming 'something' appeared on the field at the edge of the path.  

From downwind I'm certain it must be to do with fertilising...

As I walked further up another car appeared, hidden behind this digger and then I heard a lot of laughing.

All rather a spooky experience!
