Sheffield Park revisted

I visited Sheffield Park on October 6th with KarenC but the Autumn colours weren't quite ready. As I was almost passing by I decided to call in on my way to meet friends. Unfortunately every other local photographer had the same idea. Equipment envy, so many lovely cameras...

The weather was perfect, bright blue skies and very little breeze. I'm not keen on people in my photos but it was unavoidable today with so many visitors. All credit to the staff who coped well with the invasion. I stayed just over an hour. On departure, the queues for the car park reached back a mile to the next village. I'm glad I'm an early bird and missed the traffic.
