A fine heritage

One of my retirement presents was membership of English Heritage for Mr EAnn and myself. So it's a bit ironic that I could have visited this for free.
Monk Bretton Priory on the outskirts of Barnsley. We live only about 40 minutes drive away but I've never been here till today. Other than a couple of blokes cutting the grass we had it pretty much to myself.
All that and a good lunch at the Spencer Arms in Cawthorne.
