A Morpeth bull.

It has been a long day today as Swannie was on a hire and instead of coming home after the morning school run, she took a group of ladies for a day out to Morpeth. This is a huge sculpture above the door of the shopping centre at the back of the bus station. It is life sized, made of clay and weighs three quarters of a tonne. Apparently a lot of Aberdeen Angus bulls were brought to Morpeth from the Borders of Scotland to be sold at the market. He's certainly a big boy!

Swannie didn't get home until quarter to seven so it's just as well I'm a resourceful wee cat and managed to knock over a big plastic container of cat food and get the lid off! I still asked for my tea when she came in though, you can't blame a cat for trying, lots of love, JJ, xx.
