Aaaaaargh - giant snowmen!

This is the site that greeted me when I turned into Carnaby Street this afternoon. Crikey! It's like Ghostbusters at Christmas! It's quite funky, though. I was also impressed by the Christmas lights on Regent's Street - giant lit-up stars spanning the width of the road.

I spent the morning rushing out the remaining Christmas cards, then I spent many hours in central London shopping along Carnaby Street, Regent's Street and Oxford Street. It was busy, but not horrendously so. I picked up a few bargains at the John Lewis Christmas shop and had a lot of fun picking out presents for folk, and really, really trying hard not to buy anything for myself. I bought a hat, but I did need one!
