Calm (ish) after the storm

The rain has eased a little, the waters gone down somewhat and the wind is now coming from the west - and even a ghostly glimmer of sunshine and layered clouds appeared. The courgettes have survived.

Caught up with both sons today via skype - please check out Son number 2's official video for the band Slamboree. (spot the bearded lady!!) I think it is astonishingly brilliant - not that I'm biased of course! 10 festivals down for him and 5 to go . He's wrecked!
Son number 1 is just back from a photographic roadtrip around most of Wales - this involved unexpected serious scrambling up mountain peaks, getting extremely lost looking for a lighthouse and nearly murdering the guy in the bed next to him in the hostel, who had just climbed the 3 peaks crashed out and snored mightily all night.
Last evening of plays down in Kilcrohane tonight - I think it's a ghost story. I'll report back.
