Peony

Some lovely friends of ours gave us a bunch of Peonies last weekend. They arrived with the flowers in tight buds. It has been magical watching the buds gradually open to reveal the full beauty of the flowers.
Pastel painting this morning and I finally finished my latest landscape of Kaiteriteri Beach. Our Tutor, Prue, helped me with the final steps to prepare the painting for framing. It is now at the framers and I am looking forward to seeing the final artwork.
