Kinderdijk

Well, I was planning to drive from Brussels to Amsterdam and I took a look at google map to see that I was passing (well almost) the windmills made famous on blip by Farishta. An ideal opportunity to mix work with pleasure.

I had hoped the reach the windmills before sunset but the work bit got in the way of that and this blip is after the sun had gone down and was actually quite dark. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage site making it a match for my journey to work at home where the Derwent Valley is also a UNESCO area of historical interest. I am staying nearby so if I wake in time I will be back in the morning before completing the drive to Amsterdam.
