Loadsa shingle…….

…..on the beach at Cullercoats this morning…..or maybe that should be 'not much sand' left near the low-tide waterline, I'm absolutely sure the shingle is a permanent, underlying feature;-) A week or so ago there were a couple of very high tides that dumped a lot of sand within the harbour walls, the council sent a digger/excavator in to excavate some really quite large trenches for reasons best known to themselves……maybe they should have just left nature to take its course…..
