Upton House

We called in here for lunch on our way back from dropping off my mountain bike. The house has been transformed back to the way it would have looked during WWII when the staff and assets of the Bearsteds family owned bank were moved into it for the duration. We didn’t have time to look round the house but we walked through the gardens and along the woodland walk on our way back to the car. Definitely a place worth going back to.

Extra - A serious subject but the drawing made me smile.
