Inside

Inside it’s orderly.
Everything in its place.

Including you.

Outside
there’s too much space and your face doesn’t fit.

As for freedom,
you don’t know what to do with it.

Outside, where’s your next meal coming from?
Outside, where’s your bed?

These questions are prisoners
inside your head.

Once you find yourself back inside
they’ll be able to escape.
