Birds of a Feather

We met Maureen and Ian at the Swan Fountain (not currently working) on Bancroft Gardens this morning.  We took a walk to Susie's and spent a nice hour or so socialising.

There was a little excitement by the ferry as we passed.  All the parking spaces had been suspended and a full-on film crew took up most of the road.  Also the river and the ferry.  A small crowd of onlookers were there with rumours of the presence of David Tennant. We stopped for a bit of rubber necking, and a photo or two before I was warned "no photos" by a guy in headphones. There was one rowing boat on the river being held by a couple of guys in wet suits, I didn't recognise any of the occupants, then another boat was launched and I thought it was DT with a beard at the helm, though Ann said it wasn't.  I only managed to get one photo of the guy and that was with his back to us, so I'm none the wiser.

Later I google'd it and found a cutting from the Stratford Herald saying they were making a film, much based in Stratford, "Fishes Without Bicycles" and David Tennant would be in it and they had booked a day to film by the river.  The bad news is its not due for release until Christmas 2017.

We'll have to wait and see if I was right.
