Day 1 Bethlehem and the apartheid wall

Words can't describe how horrified and upset I was at my first hand experience of the wall. It is truly shocking. You can see how the wall snakes around cutting off the Palestinians from the rest of Bethlehem. In the bit on the left here is a house which is surrounded on 3 sides by the wall and the Israelis have forced the owners to block up the windows on the first floor as that would enable them to see over the wall. (see extra pic) It's inhumane.
