Expression

I have come to realize that pugs have only one expression when you formally pose them and the camera comes out. This is it. There's the one where they look like they smiling, usually when they're panting to catch their breath but they look so freaky then because it looks and sounds like they're struggling to breathe-not attractive for a portrait. This shoot went very well once they stopped wrestling with the fake fur and trying to pull the fur out.

They are snorty little clowns and I suspect that is one of the reasons people can overlook their less attractive features. It's time to clean their ears and between their facial folds with baby wipes today. I expect a bit more wrestling.

By next Wednesday evening they will be reunited with their owners and the following day they are traveling by car to Texas to start their new life, which to them will be just like their old life, except for the absence of me. Thankfully their pea brains won't realize that but my brain won't be so lucky.
