Silly Saturday and Derelict Sunday

Went for a walk with the U3A weekend walking group.  The choice was Southend Pier, not too bad walking down but chilly coming back (the pier is a mile and a quarter long) and the wind in our face. I then had a walk back to the car and passed these houses.  I thought I could kill two birds with one stone as the saying goes because of the art work (funny) and the dereliction.  Extra is of some metal beach huts at the foreshore end of the pier which I understand have different things inside, including a video of Southend past.
