Toms Senior Day

This is the reason we are in Montana. It's Toms senior day. That means it's his last football/soccer game for MSUB. Four years of playing for MSUB has come to an end. What an emotional day.
The seniors line up with family and or friends who walk out on to the pitch before the game and the players are presented with something special as a reminder of their time with the team.
Tom had so many wonderful things read out about him I can't tell you how proud that made me and his dad feel. Even his brother Alex and his girlfriend Louise said how proud they were of him.
We all walked with him plus his friend Sam who left last year and Toms girlfriend Ashleigh. The other players made a line and clapped as we walked to get his beautiful momentous. He will treasure them forever. His friend Sam made a up photo album of his time spent with Tom too. How nice is that.
His coach Alex thanked me for entrusting Tom to them. I'm the one who is eternally grateful that my son turned up a boy and now has turned into a fine young man. He has been given good education, good soccer training and has made friends from far and wide. But more than all of that he's been given the ability to show he has a good heart.
I'm so sad it has come to an end but so grateful he has been fortunate to have had this experience.
He will still be there for education. That hasn't finished. Thank goodness for that. I'm not sure what we will be like when that comes to an end.
