Autumn view

I spent the day in the Arashiyama district of Kyoto. This was the view from a beautiful garden, designed by a Japanese film star from the era of silent films. 

I also visited the bamboo forest which is in the extras. In this photo I've reached the limits of both my photo editing software and my editing abilities. I need software that can brighten the shadows at the bottom without over-exposing the rest of the shot.
