Rubislaw Terrace Gardens

Had a wander into town today through Rubislaw Terrace Gardens where there is still a fair bit of colour . 
Today is much less stormy than yesterday ( Aberdeen's firework display was cancelled due to gales last night ) though still pretty cold . 
The town is depressing - full of  " for sale " and " to let " signs and a few empty boarded up shops . That's in addition to all the brand new office accommodation at the top end of Union Street that is lying empty . It just goes to show how dependent the local economy is on the oil price .
