Autumn Walk

Mum and I wanted to go somewhere new for coffee this morning, so purely using this as an excuse you must understand, we headed to Tonbridge to check out a Hobbeycraft store there.  Unfortunately, no-one told us that the A21 was closed for roadworks, and the whole area was gridlocked :-(   So instead we dropped into a handy garden centre we spotted on a side street and had our coffee,  a scone (in lieu of lunch) and a mooch around.

By the time we left, the traffic jams had subsided, and I took a very leisurely route home.  We stopped off at Ide Hill so I could get a few photos.  This is the driveway up to the old Vicarage, which like most has been sold off by the church to a more wealthy owner.  The extra shows the church - St Mary's Church, Ide Hill
