Meall Corrannaich

This photo shows the view from the top of Meall Corrannaich looking towards Meall nan Tarmachan. What this photo doesn't capture is how ridiculously windy and ice-slippery it was. There were times when I was on all-fours to avoid being blown away. The original plan for the day had been that I would now continue from Meall Corrannaich onwards to Meall a' Choire Leith but I was just too weather-beaten to face a long ridge walk into the wind. So I just went back down the way I'd come up. Two-and-a-half hours up and down.
