oh...dear....god.....

this enormous thing just trotted across the sitting room floor.

DD and I screamed like the girls we are, but I managed to pop this very large pint glass over it, even SpiderBoy Ds2 said "bugger me!!" was taken aback.

I am faint with fear and watching the damned thing throw itself against the edges is not improving my nerves either. The 2lb weight on the top of the upturned glass should restrain it somewhat until ds1 and his friend reinforcements arrive home.
