Saint Hubertus Fair

It was Open Studio Day, today and I went to the studio where my usual art classes are. I worked on my linocut and started on a practice version of a Christmas card. It was quiet in the studio, quieter than in the village, where approximately 50,000 visitors were expected, at the Hubertus Fair.
According to tradition, the priest blesses the horses, after Mass. In a beautiful come the horses riding through the village to church. To me that's the only interesting part of the day. After the blessing the market opens. There is a carrousel for children and there are lots of stalls selling goods.
